# 2-Factor Authentication

**Introduction:** What is 2-Factor Authentication?

**Requirements:**

1. Android/iOS device.
2. QR Code scanner application (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)

# Enabling 2-Factor Authentication

1. Go to panel > Account > [Security](https://panel.skynode.pro/account/security)

2. Click on **Enable 2-Factor Authentication**

3. Scan the QR code using your QR Code scanner application.

4. Enter the code and you're done.

*Note: make sure that you already copy the backup key incase of emergency like loosing your phone.*

*Additional Information: Everytime you log in to your account it will require you to enter a code that can be found on the QR Code application you have.*
