# Minecraft Bedrock | How to change your servers version

# In this guide, we will walk you through the process of changing the version of your Minecraft Bedrock server

## Step 1: Access the Startup Tab
1. Open your web browser and navigate to our  [Game Panel](https://panel.skynode.pro).
2.  Locate and click on the "Startup" tab in the navigation menu.

## Step 2: Change Bedrock Server Version

3. In the `Variables` section under the `Bedrock Version` field, enter the version you want to install. **Ensure that you enter the correct version number**. For example, if you want version `1.18.12`, it's essential to provide the full valid version number, such as `1.18.12.01`.

## Step 3: Select Server Type and Adjust Settings

4. Above the `Bedrock Version` field, you will find an option to select your server type

5. Choose your desired server type from the available options (e.g., Vanilla Bedrock, PocketMine, Nukkit).

6. Depending on whether you are downgrading the version or updating to a newer one, adjust the settings accordingly:
   
* **For Downgrading**: If you are switching to a lower version, you'll need to reset your server, therefore tick the `Wipe All Files` checkbox.

*  **For Updating**: If you are updating to a newer version and do not wish to reset your server, leave the `Wipe All Files` checkbox unchecked.

## Step 4: Run the Installer

7. Once you've selected the server type and configured the `Wipe All Files` option as per your requirements, click the `Install` button.

||| Do not reload the page while the installer is running. It will automatically refresh upon completion.

**Congratulations! You've successfully changed the Minecraft Bedrock version on your server!. Your server should now be running the desired version! **
