# Minecraft Bedrock | Install PocketMine-MP Manually

# Installing PocketMine-MP Manually 

If you prefer a faster method we have a Bedrock Type Installer, this tutorial is only for users who prefer installing their server manually.

Note: If you do not want to lose any of your server files/data, make sure to create a backup.

**Step 1:** Delete all your server files.

1. Go to panel > files.

2. Select all the files.

3. Mass delete.

**Step 2:** Installing PocketMine-MP .phar.

1. You can download the jar from here, [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/pmmp/PocketMine-MP/releases) or [Jenkins](https://jenkins.pmmp.io/view/PocketMine-MP/job/PocketMine-MP/) (You can choose either of this two, it doesn't matter.)

2. Upload the PocketMine-MP.phar to your server files

**Step 3:** Updating your server type

Go to server panel > `Startup` and locate "Change server type", select pocketmine-MP and install.
 
Once all of the steps above is done, then you should be above to start your server now.

**Note:** Only use this method if our bedrock type installer do not work.
