# Minecraft | How to Install and Use Optifine

### OptiFine is a Minecraft optimization mod that allows Minecraft to run faster and look better with full support for HD textures and many configuration options. 1. Go to [https://optifine.net/downloads](https://optifine.net/downloads) and download the version you want to use.

2. Open the file and click **Install** and wait until it says successfully installed.

3. Open the Official Minecraft Launcher. You can now select the optifine version that you downloaded and just click **PLAY**
