# Minecraft | Minecraft How to Make a Backup of your World on your PC/Laptop

1. Go to your [https://panel.skynode.pro/](https://panel.skynode.pro/)

2. Click on your server and go to **File manager** at the top menu.

3. Choose the **world** folder you want to make a backup with.

4. Right click and press **Archive**

5. It will create a file that ends with .tar.gz

6. If you press **Unarchive** it will extract you your world folder.

| You can download this .tar.gz file to your computer as a backup

**All done! You now have a backup of your world folder!**
