# Minecraft | How to uninstall plugins

# How to uninstall plugins
*Before uninstalling the plugin, make sure that you don't need it or you have a backup if you still still need it in the future. Once a file is deleted it can no longer be recovered.*


1. Stop your server

2. Go to your [Skynode Panel](https://panel.skynode.pro/) > `File Manager` and find the folder named **Plugins** click it to access the area.

3. Right click on the plugin `.jar` and delete.

To mass delete a file you can click box next to the file name. And a delete button will appear.

4. Once all is done, start/restart your server and it should be removed. To see if it has been successfully been uninstalled type `plugins` or /plugins in-game and check if the plugin name is in the list. If not there, it's a success.
