# Project Zomboid | How to Reset the Map/World

#### Deleting the Current World File

1. Go to Console and Stop the server.

2. Go to your File Manager > .cache > Saves > Open **Multiplayer**
  * The server's name is Project so your file depends on the name of your server.

3. By **Deleting** this world folder, it will reset your map when you start your server.

#### Renaming the World File

1. Go to **Startup** tab on your panel at the top right.

2. You will see **Server Name**

3. You can rename this world and it will generate a new world folder. 

4. Start the server. You can check your world file on the File Manager > .cache > Saves > Open **Multiplayer**

5. If you ever want to go back to the old world, you can just rename it again back to the previous world name and the server will use the world file from before.
