# Rust | How to set Password on your Server

1. You have to enable Oxide and  install **Authentication** Plugin on your server. If you don't know how, you can refer to the link below.
  * You have to enable Oxide first to install Plugins on your server.

2. Once you start your server with Authentication plugin. You can now go to your Console and type `auth password [your password]` then press enter.
   * You can just repeat the password if you want to change the password.
Example

``auth password skynode``

**All done! Your server should now have password set it!**
