# Terraria | How to change your world size

_There are three types of world sizes, small, medium, and large. We recommend using small or medium size world for a 1GB ram and 2GB ram for a large world. If you reach your maximum usage you can always upgrade your MEMORY. **GUIDE TO CHANGE YOUR WORLD SIZE**

1. **Stop **your server.
2. **Delete** your saves folder. Go to Panel > File Manager > find the **saves** folder and click the `. . .` and delete.

3. After the folder is deleted. Go to Panel > `startup` and locate the **WORLD SIZE**

4. Enter a value `Defines the worlds size. 3 sizes 1 (small), 2 (medium), 3 (large).`
_If you want a **small **world enter number `1` and `2` for **medium **and `3` for **large **world._
5. **Start** your server. and ENJOY the game.
