# Valheim | How to upload a custom world to your Valheim server

# How to upload a custom world to your Valheim server

**Step 1.** Press Win Key + R, type in `appdata` and press Enter. Go to **LocalLow -> IronGate -> Valheim -> worlds**. *(C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds)*

**Step 2.** Copy the files with the following endings: `.fwl`, `.db`.

**Step 3.** Go to the [panel](https://panel.skynode.pro/) and press on the server you'd like to upload the world to.

**Step 4.** Go to your `Files` in your server panel. Then click on the folders in the following order: **.config -> unity3d -> IronGate -> Valheim -> worlds**. *(/home/container/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds)*

**Step 5.** Upload the files that you copied before. 

**Step 6.** The default server name is `My Server`, change it to whatever you want it to be.

**Step 5.** After you're done uploading, go to `Startup` and look out for a box called `World Name`, set the value of it to the name of the file you uploaded in the 6th step. *(Don't include the `.fwl`, `.db`)*

**Step 6.** Press `Save Settings`.

**Step 6.** Restart your server.

**Perfect! Your Valheim server now has a custom world!**
