Project Zomboid | How to Make your Server Private

Private Setting

First, you will have to make your server Private
If you haven't made your server Public, you can skip the step below.

Go to your File Manager > .cache > Server > Open Project.ini
The server's name is Project so your file depends on the name of your server.

Find Public=true and make it Public=false and click Save
By turning this to false, it means your server cannot be seen on Steam.

Setting up a Password

A password will not allow any players to connect on your server without it.

Go to your File Manager > .cache > Server > Open Project.ini
The server's name is Project so your file depends on the name of your server.

Locate Password= and fill it with the password that you want.

Example, Skynode#1 is the password

Click Save and Restart the Server. Clients must know this password to join the server.
