I'm sure you're here when you try make a backup of your world and you're having a problem.
First, the reason why when you compress your world folder and it becomes a TAR file is because our server is running on Linux, that's why it isn't on ZIP type.
Solution
Go to any TAR to ZIP Website converter like this one CloudConvert
Upload your File Select Convert
Once it is done, there will be a Download Button
It will now be in a .ZIP format which can be opened on most modern PCs without third party software.
If you wish to open a .TAR file on a Windows/Mac PC, you will need to install a third party program. We recommend using 7-Zip File Manager
